Superchargers - various vendors

The supercharger you're referring to is the Lysholm, an intermeshing screw design. This is not a new design, having been developed by a Swedish firm (Senska Rotor Maskiner AB) over 40 years ago. It's sister company, Autorotor developed the compressors for automotive use. In the U.S., it is sometimes referred to as the Whipplecharger since Whipple Industries of Fresno, California has the exclusive U.S. licensing agreement. Kenne Bell acquired the distribution rights for Ford cars and trucks in the U.S and markets several kits:

Kenne Bell Superchargers 10743 Bell Ct. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 (909) 941-0985 or 6646

His 5.0 Mustang kit goes for around $3000. Whipple Industries can be contacted at 209-442-1261.

I'm foggy on the Sprintex connection, they may have had previous rights or built drag racing applications, but this is the same style blower. Another company in Michigan, AVC Motorsports (800-447-2280, this may be an old number) marketed a 5.0 kit (and 5.7 Chevy kit) using Sprintex sourced components before Bell and someone else may do the Chevy kits these days (I can probably find a number if you need it). The AVC literature I have indicates a variety of compressor sizes for everything from motorcycles to big block V8's.
