[2011/Sep/07] I've been wanting to replace my series 2 flat hub E-type wire wheels with series 1 curly hub wires. I found a set of 4 used s1 wheels on craigslist, 3 in good shape, 1 with missing and bent spokes. I took them for truing and rim sealing to Rite-Way in Walnut Creek. I didn't hear back for a few days so I called to check. Gisele told me that three of the wheels needed very minor adjustment, and the one with missing spokes was an easy job, so no charge, come and pick them up. -- "Andrew Trice" <atrice@gmail.com>

[2011/Sep/06] I ordered some Alloy wheels from England for an Alfa... one rim lip was bent in shipping... while I was waiting to resolve the matter with the supplier, Rite-Way smoothed the rim lip on the damaged wheel without having to repaint the fussy clear coated surface- i'm running the former bent rim on the car while the 5th wheel the English vendor sent me rides in the trunk as a spare..... -- "jeff_at_hardtuned" <jeff@hardtuned.com>
