Supplier of modern accessories and upgrades for Triumphs, apparently built in limited volumes, pre-ordered by (checks only!) deposits. Experiences are clearly mixed:

[2007/Nov/25] Don't know if the group is aware of this website for high end Triumph stuff... The headers are world class, axles to dream about, and the swing arm conversions for Spitfire and GT6's are unbelievable....

[2007/Nov/26] Chris at prirace.com is at the bottom of my list of vendors to recommend. I paid a hefty good-faith deposit on one of his advertised items and after receiving nothing for 2 years, spent the next 2 years trying to get my deposit back. That's when I learned that credit card companies offer no protection after 6 months. I have received nothing from Chris except lame excuses and promise. I've given up trying to get my deposit, but I will make sure that others know of my bad experience. -- Shane Ingate <hottr6@hotmail.com>

[2007/Nov/28] I have never had a problem with Chris. I buy my TR6 steel, lightened, flywheels from him, and they are truly works of art. I've purchased six or eight of them so far and have never had an issue with shipping times, pricing, etc. He does favor the bike carbs for car use, but that's because of his background. He also uses bike valves in his head work. Perhaps he has a connection for good pricing on bike parts? -- Ed Barnard <edwardbarnard@prodigy.net>

[2007/Nov/29] The first time I talked to PRI ,I was pretty impressed. The guy sounded like he really new his stuff. Most of the products on his web site were pretty expensive, but I was excited to have found a vendor that had trick stuff for my GT6. (not and easy thing to find). So I purchased a few small items, as a test, because a few people warned me to stay away. I was pleased with the quality of the items ,but not so happy about the high cost associated with shipping and handling. I then met a local Triumph guy who was involved in a law sit with PRI. This was just about the same time that I decided to order a set of his (expensive)alloy shocks. When I mentioned the pending law suit to PRI, he went ballistic on me and accused me of being involved with the guy ,just because we happen to live near each other. I hardly knew the guy, but PRI told me he wouldn't sell me anything ever again! -- Randy Lamp <rhlamp@babcock.com>

Got an update? This does NOT mail to the vendor!
