If you're one of those unfortunates with a pile of broken speedo/tach angle drives around, concerned about the high ($90!) cost of new ones, despair not. I just had one rebuilt at Palo Alto Speedometer for $35. Mine had sheared off the stub of drive cable, which seems to be a fairly common failure mode. - Chris Kent Kantarjiev <cak@parc.xerox.com>
