I got the following (deleted)from a flyer that Obsolete Automotive near Sarnia, Ontario puts out. They post the odd Tech Tips in their monthly sales flyer of MG, Triumph and AH parts. Although its not dealt with as a MG problem you might get some usefull info from it. BTW they sell used parts in their flyer as well. I noticed they recently asked $599Cnd for a rebuilt Midget rib case? tranny. "> SOL logo

[2000/Apr/17] Recently got a pretty good sized load of MGB LH type overdrive
transmissions which they're offering for $700 US each.
27 Feb 1998: Publish monthly "Sportscar Chronicle", a newspaper-style list of
parts on sale and with lots of good technical articles. New and used parts for
TR, MG, and some Jag, AH, Mini, and others. Has on-line ordering through
their website, and mail order service has been excellent - with rarely
any back-orders. Prices - especially on monthly sale items - are very
fair. Website doesn't seem to be updated often enough, though. I
believe they also run a repair shop.

I've not yet had a look at them yet, so I don't know how well they're set up. I have dealt with them by phone and snail mail many times with good success.

Got an update? This does NOT mail to the vendor!
