Todd Clarke has restored several MGAs and found he needed many small bits of hardware that no one offered. His small catalog contains a good selection of original-type fasteners and other hardware packaged as kits, small clips and brackets, frame and body repair panels, body-to-frame pad kits, etc. He also offers rebuilding services for windshields, seats, hand brake levers, etc. Some of his reproduction parts are sold to Moss and others, who mark them up a little. Because of his familiarity with MGAs, he is also a great source of restoration information. One can't talk about MGA parts suppliers without mentioning Todd Clarke. He has all the hardware for an MGA made up in kits for the various areas of the car, and makes a number of sheet metal parts (sills, chassis repair channels, battery racks..., but not fenders and outer panels). I have added seat belts to my '57 MGA Coupe using parts and instructions from Clarke Spares and Restoration (CSR). The parts are designed and made to meet the seat belt requirements. CSR specializes in the hard to find parts for MGAs like fasteners, body packings, body panels and gaskets. I have used CSR's panels to rebuild my inner sill. The panels fit exceptionally well. Does both VIN plates and engine number plates (some of which are properly stamped from the back). They require proof of ownership (photocopy of title) and documentation (BMIHT certificate photocopy) of the proper numbers to prevent people from obtaining number plates they have no right to.

You should call for current prices. When I used their service they supplied the engine ID plates but required you to supply a blank VIN plate (available from Moss). - Doug Auburg
