[1999/Jan/8] This company is an eyesore on the entire British car owning community. As much as the Monster list can be an asset to the British car enthusiast just having British Miles on it makes it a liablity. You may as well be sending people into a lion's den. That's my opinion, which just happens to be shared by about every other person I spoken with (dozens) who has ever dealt with this company. I have driven 2 hours+ on two occasions to British Miles in order to pick up "first quality" used parts from there, only to find garbage upon my arrival. On one occasion I told them that I felt they had misrepresented the condition and asked that the adjust the price accordingly. The reply was a monolog about how he pays X amount of dollars in property tax and employs X # of employees........ blah blah blah......and ending with how he can not stand people like me. At that point I returned to my car and drove 2 hours+ home vowing to never ever do business with them again. These guys sell the reproduction dealer signs for the various marques. This seems to be the original manufacturer, or at least their prices are consistently less than the other folks that sell them (including Vicky Brit and TRF).
