[2002/Jul/19] Replys from TR4/4A owners with original/old keys indicate the round head key operates the ignition and doors. The rectangular with rounded corners head operates the cubby locker and boot lid. No one indicated if the 6 sided head was ever used originally but seems to be the only model is generally available today from Ilco or Taylor. I located 2 sources for British made Wilmot Breedon keys; US source, $15 each - UK source, #12.50 each. Both cut to the code indicated on the lock cylinder. One lister indicated that Union and not Wilmot Breedon were the original source for TR keys. I did not find any sources for Union keys. I have inquiries in at several Online websites without reply so far. Only AlfaPro could provide all three head shapes - Italian made Silca key blanks in Australia. They sold me 12 key blanks including shipping for $26.40 US (about $2.00 US each plus $2.40 shipping). I recently won an Ebay auction from this company and already have the order in my hand - inside a week! Great communication as well. -- Brad Eells <bradlnss@lightspeed.net>
